Randall Aragon

Currently serve as Chief of Police for Marque, La Texas. Acquired 40 years in civilian law enforcement of which 30 were served as a Police Chief in six (6) states. Of particular note he has previously served as La Marque’s Chief of Police/Emergency Management Coordinator & Director of Public Safety (responsible for police, city’s overall emergency management & fire department) for five (5) years (2009 through 2014). Earned a Bachelor of General Studies Degree in business management from The University of Nebraska at Omaha, a Master of Arts Degree in Management from Webster University, and is a graduate of the coveted F.B.I. National Academy, 168th Session and the F.B.I’s National Executive Institute, Class #39 (2016). Texas Master Peace Officer Certification.

Early military career served as a Paratrooper in the heralded combat hardened 101st Airborne Division. Later, as a U.S. Army Captain, commanded a 326-man unit in combat (Viet Nam). Military service included 12 ½ years active duty followed by 12 years with the South Carolina Army National Guard, retiring at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel, Military Police Corps.

Served as a management consultant and criminal justice advisor for numerous municipalities, police agencies, and educational institutions/agencies. Served 35 years as an Adjunct Instructor (college level) teaching business management, accounting, economics, and criminal justice at 12 major colleges.

Authored numerous police management articles published in renowned national/international publications. Co-editor (and contributing writer) of college textbook, Patrol Officer Problem Solving and Solutions, February 2001.
